aha! so there are problems with CAI and tune.... ill probably get one eventually anyways.... anyone know what a dyno tune runs for?

There are good tunes and there are bad tunes, regardless of whether they are come with a CAI or done by a tuner with a dyno. If done properly by a tuner, it should be accurate for your car and it's specific modifications.

To say there are problems with getting a "CAI and tuneā€ because someone heard some pinging is quite premature.

There are many threads on CAI's and tunes on this board. Do some searching and reading before jumping to conclusions.

If you decide you want more power and to mod your car, you have to learn to pay attention to it. When modified for performance it runs close to the "edge" and even simple things like bad gas can push it over the "edge". Listening for ping is something you need to do.
