Default RE: Running very lean

Took my dad for a ride to show him what it's doing. He says it's missing. I can get it to sound like popcorn when I accelerate. So, it seems the knocking is fixed since I tightened all my airhose clamps. But now I'm thinking I damaged a spark plug when I was running lean and knocking. I think I should pull the plugs and look at them. What do you think?

Provided you torque it down correctly when you put it back - can't hurt to get a look at the plugs...

But, not to drone or anything, datalogging is your friend - it will tell you you which cylnder is missing

BTW - noticed someone on the other forum eventually tracked a vacuum leak on a Saleen setup down to the bypass actuator leaking out the bottom ... which resulted in a lean condition...

Another excuse to run your hands over the engine again... As if you needed a reason
