Although I have driven sports cars for 30 years, I am really quite mechanically challenged. I just get in and drive. In fact, this mustang is the first car I have ever modded (bought it to mod it) and can offer you the following. If you're considering at some point forced induction like a supercharger, the blower is only 1 part of the equation....othersinclude traction. It can become an expensive endeavor and 15 to 20K (or more)can be anticipated if you're going to go the whole way, (blower, rear-end and motor rebuild for example). I have only done the blower and afew minor mods( wheel hop reduction kit, lower control arms, and fat DRs), rear-end rebuild/swap (with 4:10 gears, spec clutch, alum driveshaft)is in January, andan engine rebuild seems inevitable. Car is my daily driver and performance gains are already significant (very high 11s for 1/4) but Ihad no ideawhat I was getting into when I went with the s/c.
