Default CMCV ? please help

OrderedCAI & Tune from Brentspeed yesterday and was talking to Dave about the different tunes. Told him that i had the delete plates coming in a couple of days and would Brent tune for them. Hetold me to possibly notconsider using them because they have had nogains and have lost power & preformance from there testing on the Dino. Dave said that people on the forums say they are using them with some success but it isnot what they are experenceing in there shop. He said with FI it does seem to help somewhat but on N/A it hurts the lower RPMs and torque. any help would be great before i go any futher on this upgrade.

I have discussed this issue with Brent. According to him you may lose some low end torque/hp but more than make up for it in the upper RPM range. In addition, your gains will not be quite as significant without long tube headers, but they are still good for 7-9hp. For daily street driving they are not recommended as a mod that you'll get the best bang for your buck, but if you race often on or off the track they are a good mod. If you plan on getting headers I'd install them.

Brent told me there would be losses down low and to install them after gears. However, I went online and found plenty of dynos that showed no loses down low. I then decidedto install them. After installing mine thereare loses down low but only at light throttle. at WOT thereare no losses anywhere. Now I have LTs and that could effect it. It makes a very noticible difference at low throttle.

I think it WAY more than makes up for it though because the WOT gain is very impressive for 100$. There are many track times and dynos that can be found online all show gains throughout. I have NEVER seen one that showed a loss anywhere. I did ALOT of researchbefore I boughtmine after brent told me about the loses.
