Default Violator or Flowmaster or GTA

I'm looking for a new exhaust and been looking through the numerous posts about exhaust systems. I couldn't find anything that really answered my question so here goes.

I want an exhaust that is louder than stock. I do not want drone and it can't be loud enough to wake up everyone on my street, but it has to be noticible that it isn't a stock exhaust system. I think I've narrowed it down to these three. I'm wondering what you guys think about them and maybe link me to some video clips that accurately describe the sound that the exhaust system makes.

Thanks.

I highly recommend the GTAs. I've got them on mine. No drone. Sound great. Louder than stock, but not obnoxious.

CORSA'S...... nuf said....

seriously... got a set installed yesterday.... I think they sound great... quite when you want... cruising..... NO NO NO NO NO DRONE....
and they scream when you jump on the gas..... to me they sound more refined then most of the others.... more like a race engine then a hot rod.....
keep in mind I swapped out a magnapack after two weeks due to the drone... could not take in the 1800-2000 rpm area....

they also look great.... 304 stainless... and 4" tips........ shine like a mirror!!

they are a bit more expensive...but I got mine for $560 shipping inculded from autopartswarehouse via Ebay.....

good luck

Dave

I've got the GTA's also. Slightly louder & deeper than stock.
Between them & Corsa's are the only ones who people say consistantly have NO drone.

I had Violaters but did not like the sound at wide open throttle, especially in first gear. I bought the Flowmaster Axlebacks. Sound is deeper than stock with a good sound at any rpm I'm totally pleased with them. My car is totally stock mechanically other than an Airaid CAI, which I installed after the Flows. This seems to make the sound even deeper.

What about the SLP Loudmouths? I don't have them yet but was my choice once I have the $$$.
My understanding was that they are not too loud on an otherwise stock exhaust but a lot throatier, big block kind of sound.
If anyone knows different, please post about it.
Other than the SLPs, C&L+SCT, and 3.73s, mine is going to stay stock till the warranty is up.
