Default Where to hook up gauge light?

Can someone tell me where the best place is toconnect the wires for the light in my boost gauge? I want it to come on when the dash light come on.

I installed the boost gauge vacuum line and pillar pod last night but ran out of time before doing the electrical part.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Default RE: Where to hook up gauge light?

I got it. Tap off the black wire with the white stripe that is connected to the dimmer switch plug for the 12 volts and ground to the chassis (i used one of the mounting studs under the dash). Took 10 minutes.

Thanks!

Isn't that hot all the time?

The wire he used isn't hot all the time, and it will dim with the interior light reostat.

Hawgman is correct. It is not hot all the time and it dims the gauge light perfectly!
