Crap, where did all that come from. I thought we were talking about heat soak, not overheating.

LOL - I am embarrassed to say after re-reading the thread, I don't know how I got into this debate either. It was never about cooling and I don't even know how I ended up there?[&o]

Okay, I obviously need to take a break from the internet...[sm=oopssign.gif]

EDIT - But my offer still stands to rodeoflyer as he was lost right along with me. What do you say - Irwindale thursday? You can PM me if you like.

EDIT AGAIN - I just realized you are doing the GAS Cruise Tomorrow. Fantastic, we can discuss this tomorrow morning.

^ Why? That makes no sense.... why sit there and waste battery power to run a fan across an engine that isnt running and doesnt need to be cooled?
Some of us believe the engine does need cooling and this seems like reasonable solution that other manufactures use. Running a small fan for a few minutes is not going to run your battery down unless you already need a new one.

Do they make fans for intercoolers? I wonder if that would work?

Or that electric water pump. You can have it pumping even when engine is off to cool your engine faster.
