Default Quick Heat Question

i got a little 6er, and im considering trading it in soon to get a GT, but one thing that drives me crazy about my car is the heat. In the summer expecially, my floorboards radiate heat from the cats sitting right under, and the vents (top and bottom) spew heat from the motor (i'm supposing)

do the GT's do the same thing?

Well Ive definitely noticed the lovely fomoco standard radiant heating. The hubby and I joke about it regularly and use it to keep takeout warm. I've got to say though having a totally black car in the desert heat still hasn't wiped off the grin that creeps on my face each time I drive it!

i have heard from a lot of people the heat problem... it seems the vent heat is just me, but the floor radiant heat is from the cats being mounted akwardly right below your feet. I'm suprised you haven't noticed it yet. dont start paying attention it will get on your nerves

I thought it was heat coming from the transmission, as the hump is sometimes warm to the touch. But that's the least of any problems I've had with my Fix Or Repair Daily

yeah like Orion said isnt that the tranny heat? I wouldnt know about the heat from cats b/c when I looked under my car the other day I didnt have any??

Also newroushponyowner you put take out food ina Roush or a GT500(saw the pic in your sig)? I dont put food in my car. Either I eat there or I get someone else to take it to the house for me.I like the new car smell when it goes away maybe I will put food in there then.

lol, I thought I was the only one who LOVED the new car smell! But in a vert (Roush, just LOVE the super snake pic on my profile) it blows out during the first few months of top down fun! I've had it for over a year now and I will definitely grab some Chili's curbside to go in it when I'm already out on the town! Good luck keeping that new car smell for as long as you can though
