Wheel Replicas Bullit Wheels
Anyone have any experience with the Wheels Replicas brand of Bullit wheels?
Their website claims:
"Wheel Replicas ensures quality by utilizing Low Pressure Castings to manufacture the lightest and strongest wheel available. Our wheels are made of virgin 356.2 AL and machined with the latest in CNC machining."
"Our Factory utilizes the latest in German Coating technology for the finest finish in the industry. With a chrome facility that is recognized as the best in the industry we do not have to outsource like other factories."
They sound great and the price is right, but I want to make sure that this will be a quality wheel. I don't want to have balancing problems or problems with the finish.
Also, they offer two 18 x 9" wheels with different offsets/backspacing:
24mm/5.95
36mm/6.36
Which one should I go with if I get their 18 x 10" wheels for the rear with an offset/backspacing of 22mm/6.38?
Thanks

RE: Wheel Replicas Bullit Wheels
Wheel replicas does make very high quality wheels however as a distributor for them I can tell you that they do not have any 18" Bullits for the 05+ cars available right now.
We do however have available another brand wheel which is the same one that most other wheel distributors sell which are made by Topline. The proper offsets you need for your 05+ car are +34mm for the 18x9 and +45mm for the 18x10's.
Please let me know if there's anything we can assist you with. I can work a sweet deal on some Chrome ones which I have a lot of and would like to move out of inventory. Black and Anthricite are available as well.
Thanks, Jared

An 18x10 with a 22mm offset is going to stick out an inch morein the back than the stock wheels. Now figure that you are putting a 10 inch rims in back so that's another inch futher out in comparison to the stock 17's. So you're looking at those rims being 2 inches futher out. I'm fairly sure that would be past your fender.

moosestang - I thought those offsets seemed wrong.I clicked on thepicture of an S197 mustang on their website and the bullit wheels and it took me to the specs page. Jared said that they weren't available for the new mustang yet.
Jared - The offsets you provide will make the extra inch of wheel width on the rear towards the inside of the car. Is there enough room in the wheel wells to accommodate this inch?
Thanks

The 18x10's with a 45mm offset sit pretty much flush with the fenderwell on the rear - same for 18x9's with 34mm offset in the front.
I originally bought a set of the 24mm offset wheels on ebay, and everyone's right - they looked really really bad on the car.

I definitely going for the flush look. Wheels that stick out too far are too rice for me. Their website was a little misleading with what year mustang the wheels were for.
