Default question about intake

I just got back from testing my car after I just installed a C&L intake with 93 tune from brenspeed. I opened the hood and to me the engine seemed hotter than normal. I might just be over paranoid since this is the first motor motification of my life but I wanted to see if anyone with more experience had any comments. Could it be something I have done wrong? Thanks in advance.

your coolant temperature gauge in the

it really was happening

Let me guess... this "Testing" probably involved a bunch of WOT runs?

you guys are probably right about being paranoid. Thanks for the help. I have never been into cars until I purchased the mustang a couple of months ago and now I cant stop reading this board or buying new parts. I have learned more about cars reading this board the past couple of months than I have the past twenty four years!
