Yeah I was shocked too. It was cool out, but at the same time Pirellis on a cold track were not great. I shifted into 4th right about the traps. 60-foot was about 1.95
dentisy altitude. I understand these cars going 13.3-13.2 and it is really not that hard to run those times on a cool nice air with a driver behind the wheel but damn, 106? I only owned my GT for 8 months and most of it was in winter and the car DID NOT need 4th gear and to be honest with you, 4th gear would not help at all if not even make the trap worse in my experience. I mean generally we shift around 6k RPM and on 3rd gear, 6k RPM 1/4 mile over.
