What gauges did you order ? I see 2 nice yellow boxes on the top of the drawers but you have a SOS 3 gauge a-arm.
Where did you end up ordering from? Is yours the Gen II kit ? Are you planning to use the 3.625 " pulley from what I've read it's putting out about 12psi with the default Ford racing tune!

I ordered mine from Lethal Performance, who I highly recommend to anyone thinking about getting a Whipple. Very good customer service thus far. Mine is a GenII blower, and for now I have 3.5" and 3.75" at my disposal. I asked for a pulley for 8psi, so I assume that's what the 3.5" one is for. I'll probably go with that one, but I may do some asking around about how much greater the boost is on the GenII units. My car is an automatic, so I'm looking to keep the boost at 8psi or less until I can rebuild/replace the tranny.

Nice choice! You are definitely going to be happy once you get on it and hear that supercharger whine. It shouldn't take you more then 3 days. It is a relatively simple install and the directions are easy to follow.

Very nice looking Dave, can't wait to see/hear/drive it in the car. I really hope I can make the trip up to help with the install, it will be a nice change to work on a V8 and install that supercharger.
It's gonna be fun.

I had 8.5 with my Auto and fried the third gear band the second trip to the track. Before you get too nervous let me explain. My theory is that the tune for N/A I had for about the last 30,000 miles or so was very agressive on the shift firmness. My car has been banging gears for awhile now. When I put the KB on it came with no change to the tranny at all. I immediately noticed that the shifts were really mushy with no feel at all. I thought that was the way they were with the KB tune. What I didn't know was that my clutches and bands were toast from the banging and the KB exposed the weekness. I got a used tranny with 18,000 miles on it and right off the bat the shift was a lot firmer. In fact it chirps second under full throttle now. As long as your trans is in good condition you should be fine. I'm now running the 11 pound pulley with noe shift issues. Alternative Auto knows how to tune the auto to pull torque out just before the third gear shift. If you are close then I would go there. I plan on driving 645 miles to get a day on the dyno with them to thrash my tune. Just my 2c.
