Maybe you picked up the hp and torque from the cat though and not because of the 3"?
After installing my Magnaflow Magnapack (yes they ended up being 2.5") I actually noticed a better throttle response like
I gained a few myself.
I really did not expect this at ALL given what feedback I got on the forum but as it turns out I did notice it.
(no I did'nt ignore you guys I just got the cat for the price of axle
)
