Default Magnacharger

I`m interested in ordering the Magnacharger for my 06 GT auto and need to know what can I expect at the track. Any feedback?

Custom tune? How much boost, power? Any other mods like LT's? Track tires? We cannot guess without your mods and how much power you are putting out.

Thanks,

I don't plan to do much more modding other than the SC, maybe 4.10`s, CAI and a custom tune down the road. I figure I better get the SC first while I have the $$ and save up for the other mods later. I`m just trying to gauge what the Magnuson tune that comes with kit will do for the car as far track times with a stock auto.

i don't know about track times, but it
looks like this kit will bring you up to
around 425 crank horsepower.

i'm sure you picked this kit after researching
all the various options, so i will say good luck
with the project and keep us updated throughout
the process

If you get it from Steeda, the tune that comes with the kits they sale SUCKS horribly. If I would get one, would do it from guys like @ livernois with their base tune.

We installed a steeda kit and it sucked so badly we convinced the customer to completely erase the ST provided by them (losing steeda's tune in the process) and we just did a base tune, just to be safe and beat base tune numbers by 50hp's.

We did not wanted to go any further because this kit came with no fuel pump mod and the stock pump won't provide enough fuel for 400+rwhp, so we saved the effort for later when the car get the pump upgraded and get an smaller pulley in the process.

If this was my car I would get a whipple, KB or even a Saleen SC with my eyes closed instead of this.

If you have your mind set up into this, look onto fueling options and pulley upgrades and try to get it of people like livernois that had actually installed and tuned this things a lot and can provide a better mail tune than others that just retail the product.

They actually have a promotion on the kit installed but I'm not sure if that is against the rules here so, if you are interested I could PM you the link.

Good luck with your install.
