Ceramic would create the least amount of radiated heat since the ceramic acts as an insulator. Stainless would radiate the most.

To me, ceramic is definitely not worth the price. Just save your money and get SS.

I thought the stock headers would generate the least heat?

You know, I'm surprised we don't see more people on here doing some homemade kind of ducting under their hoods or in their grills or under their cars to vent the engine heat.

Stainless steel headers should emit around the same amount of heat as the stock headers into the engine bay. The stainless steel is a better insulator than iron, but the surface area on headers is way greater than the surface area of the stock iron manifolds and therefore the stainless headers would create as much if not more than the stock iron manifolds. If you gave me the actual surface area of each, i could calculate it for you
