just hang in there. when things are shipped out and it's installed and everything it'll be all good. we've all been there, with missed shipping, or things that dont install like they are supposed to. it'll work out in the end.

Early last week, I had a bung installed so it would be there when I got ready to install my wideband. Wideband is here and the damn sensor doesn't fit my bung. Threads are different. Of course it came with a bung that fits. Why the #*$& don't they use a standard bung...

I got the gauges installed, though the sensor side of them isn't connected to anything.

I'm gonna drop this wideband thing in the lap of the speed shop next week...if I can drive by then. Let them swap the bung and finish installing it.

The stock pump only flows about 270 liters per hour (or something like that). By adding an inline pump you could increase pressure, but not flow, and you need about 300 lph with 7 or 8 psi.. The dual GT500 pump has 2 pumps in it so it flows around 550 lph. You can use a Kenne Bell Boost-a-pump to get the stock pump to flow about 35% more, but the gt500 dual pump is a far better setup, just more expensive. One of the problems with pushing the stock pump harder is it heats up the fuel more.. the other problem is it can potentially shorten the life of the stock fuel pump, although this is not really an issue. In the end, the gt500 setup is good to something like 700 rwhp, and if it comes with the kit or you can afford it, it is the best way to go.

If its any consolation, I think your install is going as smooth as, if not smoother, than my KB install went. I didn't have any plugs that didn't fit and everything seemed to work the first time, but there have been so many little things that were wrong (and still are).. Don't let it get you down.. when you hit the gas the first time (assuming everything works) you will get a big smile on your face. I think there is more satisfaction after it's all said and done when you can say "I installed it"..

I laughed when I read your problems with the heater hoses.. I was in the same exact boat, ready to tow the car to a shop to get them to figure out how to take them off.. and that was only like step 40 of 550 in the KB install.. Talk about discouraging.. then when the KB install manual said "make sure the hoses click into place completely because it will be more painful than a kidney stone if they come loose as the supercharger will have to be removed to fix them," I got really nervous. In the end it was fine. Those little clips were a pain in the ***, and when they don't come off right away you start to question if you are doing it right or are about to break it. I think it took me like 45 minutes to get those hoses off..

By far, the worst part is waiting for new parts.. mine came with the wrong MAF setup after some confusion in the ordering process, and it took 3 days for the right parts to show.. the install was done but I couldn't drive it until I got the right parts in. BTW, if it weren't for the AF gauge I wouldn't have known I got the wrong setup and could have blown the engine, my AF ratio was at like 13.2 at WOT. Definitely get that bung changed before driving it too hard. I was nervous that I had melted something, and even pulled the plugs to check..

Hang in there, you are on the home stretch..

Is your TAC plug seated all the way? Did you have to repin that one or just move it?

A bunch of people with the E-Force had a throttle actuator issue with the spring being the wrong tension or something like that.. If I am not mistaken you use the throttle actuator from the stock TB and put it on the new one that comes with the E-Force right? Maybe the spring didn't get in the slot when you put it together?
