Seriously, find out what serial number you are getting. And check the hand-written number on the parts list that comes in the accessories box and make sure that matches the serial number for the supercharger.

I don't know what serial number they're up to now. I don't know which serial numbers had fixes for all the issues I ran into. I'd guess if you aren't serial number ~500 or greater, I'd suggest opening all the boxes to check all the parts, check for threaded bolt holes (test fit the screws - sometimes only the top 2 threads are missing, and call Edelbrock to confirm the throttle body is worth a crap).
I dont know about all of those issues with mine, the Ford delaer installed it. I did have to replace the throttle body motor, and the tune would not work from edelbrock. Threw random codes and failsafed within 10 minutes every time it started. Dealer gave up and sent to a tuner/dyno shop and was running great with thier tune after about 6 hours. What serials were problematic? Also, i had to buy the GT500 fuel setup seperate so are you saying your box came with it?

My Edelbrock kit was the tuner kit - which is basically just the supercharger plus whatever the dealer (JDM Engineering) puts together with it.

This particular kit included the GT500 fuel system.

totally off topic but it's hilarious to me to have a domestic shop named "JDM Engineering"

No problems on the stock internals. I'm not real hard on the car though. Its never going to see the track. Its a daily driver and I enjoy blowing by folks on the highway now and then.

...even so, the clutch managed to last only 3 months. It was slipping some, so I replaced it. I put in a Centerforce DFX and Centerforce flywheel.

JDM = Japanese Domestic Market

every import owner strives to make their car more "JDM" with their mods and how it looks, I guess it's just funny to me coming from imports to see a domestic brand say "JDM"
