Is there anything more reassuring than doing something to the car, turning the key, and then exhaling after hearing the engine start. Whew...

Now I'd know if my fuel gauge works if I weren't already sitting on E. O

BTW I got in touch with Jim Jr at JDM who told me just to make the colors match in this picture. So, I flipped the blue & green wires such that now they line up with each other.

It works, woo-hoo! We have engine start. We have 1/2 tank of gas. We have fuel gauge.

Ready for an E-Force install. But I don't have a tune for it just yet.

OK Folks, this has to be a dumb question, but why would'nt they make a simple in-line booster pump that you could just stick under the hood to work in conjunction with the stock one? This one seemed to be a real bear.

Would love to. But its a daily driver. Can't have Monday get here and not have a tune for an installed supercharger.

You want to put a fuel pump under the hood in the fuel line? Really? Installing the GT500 pumps is not that hard. It's a little intimidating at first, but it will go in the hole and you don't need to bend any metal. It helps to have 2 people for this, 1 to hold and lower the pump and another to stuff everything in the hole as you lower it.

I could have done it in and hour and a half if not for 1) the dynamat-like stuff in the back half of the car that slowed me down, and 2) Ford not including instructions, not labeling anything, and having different colored wires than what the instructions I did find had mentioned.
