Shane's E-Force Install Thread
Are you saying you had spark blowout that went away with new coil packs? How much boost are you running?
I talked to Matt Johnson at Powerd by Ford in Orlando. I can get the E-force kit for 5500 but install would be about 1250 from what he was telling me...6750 is a big choice to make. He also said it would take about 3-4 days maybe, the money is not the only choice now because I am also in the military and may have to take a week off for this stuff. They sound like good people and he said they've been superchargin stangs for 25 years.

it's up to you but I wouldn't pay for a supercharger install, it's easy, just time consuming. from looking at the other kits I'd say that the kenne Bell is the most time consuming and it took me 20 hours alone, the other kits take much less time. do it yourself man! it's just following directions
not that their price isn't fair, it is, but that's money that can easily be saved
if you were in south florida I'd say let me install it
I'll cut you a deal and do it for $1,000

Congrats Shane!!
$1,250 and 3 to 4 days?? Do it yourself over a weekend. I installed mine in roughly 13 hours by myself (aside from dropping the actual supercharger onto the motor which requires 2 people). Aside from the repinning of a couple connectors, the rest is just basic mechanical stuff.

Ditto - its an easy, just time consuming, install. Unless you get an early run model like I did which comes with a faulty throttle body, mis-tapped bolt holes for the fuel rails, no bolts for the supercharger pulley, wrong set of spark plugs, no instructions for the GT500 fuel system, a PCV hose outlet pointing at the wrong angle, the wrong connector pre-pinned on one of the harnesses, and a tune (from JDM) written for the wrong air intake kit.
Seriously, find out what serial number you are getting. And check the hand-written number on the parts list that comes in the accessories box and make sure that matches the serial number for the supercharger.
I don't know what serial number they're up to now. I don't know which serial numbers had fixes for all the issues I ran into. I'd guess if you aren't serial number ~500 or greater, I'd suggest opening all the boxes to check all the parts, check for threaded bolt holes (test fit the screws - sometimes only the top 2 threads are missing, and call Edelbrock to confirm the throttle body is worth a crap).
