Shane's E-Force Install Thread
A/F = 10.9 to about 4500 rpm, and 11.1-11.3 from 4500 to 6300
Its gets rich (9.8) right when the throttle is stabbed and quickly recovers. Not sure if that's important or not. I'd guess not.
rwhp....looking for a dynojet. A mustang dyno in 90% humidity will hurt your feelings there. I'm not even gonna post what it read there.

Much "better". And that is SAE corrected.
The mustang dyno read 381. 381? Are you kidding me? I don't buy that for a second. Loaded, unloaded, whatever. Even the BB&T guys were saying not to read anything into that.
But I needed "a number". Just because. Everybody likes dynojet. So there's a dynojet number.
OK, more details...the dynojet measured A/F after the cat, and you see is showed around 11.5-12.2. The mustang dyno measured A/F before the cat and it read 10.9-11.3 throughout the band. Which is right?
Peak timing was 20 degrees.
There's a spark blowout problem above about 5800 rpm. I the short terms dips you see is spark blowout. We could see puffs of black smoke coming out of the car at this time. I'm running brand new FRPP plugs that are factory gapped at 0.032. Not sure what to do here but close the gap some.
I have to wonder if that brief stab-the-throttle richness I described on the mustang dyno was really spark blowout as well. The spark blowout on the dynojet also shows a dip to the rich side.
Spark blowout can come with a sudden boost change. Stabbing the throttle is a sudden boost change. In the dynojet runs, that upper rpm band is seeing ramps & spikes in boost. The general trend is a ramp to 11.5psi. But the mustang dyno which logged boost showed a couple of very narrow spikes to the 13psi range.

And as with you, after spending all that time, money, and aggrevation doing the install... needing to see some "validation" of it delivering decent results is to be expected!
Now go enjoy
