Yes K&N Sucks. Thats why it was on the fastest CAI/Tune only S197 in the country.

Seriously though go with a CAI/Tuner package deal from someone like Brenspeed, Amercan Muscle / Bama, or VMP Tuning. A JLTII and Bama Mailorder Tune picked my car up 4/10 and 3.5 mph. Times in sig. The difference in feel was significantly greater,

C'mon, Gene. Although I don't believe K&N CAI's suck, I don't believe they're any better than the others. And simply being attached to the fastest CAI & tune S197 can be due to so many other variables.

To the OP, buy what you like but research it. Talk to the guys that write the tunes.

I've always liked the look of my JLT intake. I think it looks good under the hood, very sleek and uniform in appearance.

I wasnt saying it was better. I was just taking issue with the previous statement "they suck". I actually think it likely delivers enough airflow for a basically stock car. I think it might be leaving something on the table with more mods.
