Yes K&N Sucks. Thats why it was on the fastest CAI/Tune only S197 in the country.
Seriously though go with a CAI/Tuner package deal from someone like Brenspeed, Amercan Muscle / Bama, or VMP Tuning. A JLTII and Bama Mailorder Tune picked my car up 4/10 and 3.5 mph. Times in sig. The difference in feel was significantly greater,

C'mon, Gene. Although I don't believe K&N CAI's suck, I don't believe they're any better than the others. And simply being attached to the fastest CAI & tune S197 can be due to so many other variables.
To the OP, buy what you like but research it. Talk to the guys that write the tunes.
