Default Just got my stang, time to start with some mods.

Just recently got my first stang<3 Only mods done to it are CAI and a tune. Not sure what to do next. Something around the 300-500 range. Or should i wait for a blower?

If i throw in a new TB will i get a better response?

Hit me up and tell me what you think!

A TB will give you better response but don't even bother with BBK. I have a GT-500 on my car and FRPP makes some great bolt on choices, either will require a tune. I played around with timing on mine and it works great. It will also be a benefit when you add the blower. What style blower you going to go with, Centrifugal or Roots style?

Hi I am an new member of this forum and I agree with Spartaperformance, I bought the BBK as well and don't like the gears on their throttle bodies I have experienced binding. I afterwards realized FRPP has a 62mm TB as well, wished I had bought it, it is more expensive but it also equiped with motor and TPS, no need to transfer parts. I so far has done, BBK 62mm TB, AFE intake(best in my opinion) SCT tune and Magnaflow axelbacks. These 4 mods definately made a huge improvement, the TB also made a difference but I personally don't like BBK quality. My Mustang now is huge night and day difference from a stock 2007 GT.

Honestly, im still sorta of newb to this kind of stuff, but ive read up and seem interested in Roots. Im defiantly going to get a blower but not in the near near future.

If you are going to go with a blower don't do any mods until the blower.
Very little bang for the buck on most mods.
Save up!!!

Gears are always a bang for your buck.

Just don't switch one level up or you wont feel it as much.
ex: 3.55 to 3.73's

I'd do that next.

What do you recommend? Do higher gears give you a bigger pull?

Save your money on the TB. Not needed until you're at heavy into NA mods or boost. A bigger TB may decrease response by lowering intake air velocity. You need the supporting mods to make it worthwhile. I'm running 12psi and haven't gone to a bigger TB yet.
