Being that the last car I did any mods to was my ’72 coupe I figured I better invest some time reading in a site like this. You guys seem to be pretty knowledgeable and don’t hoard what you’ve learned. I just picked up my ’06 GT and the wiring harness, cpu and 700 sensors or so, is slightly more complicated than what was under the hood on my ’72 which consisted of about 4 wires. I’d like to start with the intake and exhaust but I heard that investment #1 should be a programmer. Anybody have any suggestions?
I did do some research on the SCs and I think Whipple is the way to go. The perf curves are almost identical to the Roots style Kenne Bell but it is supposed to be more efficient and run cooler. I haven’t priced anything yet though.
Anyway, looking forward to the feedback.
Take care,
Mike
