Default Go Fast Goodies

Ok so I'm looking at some more performance parts for the Mach! I already have o/r x with flowmasters, aluminum driveshaft and 75 shot of nitrous! Just looking at some more performance goodies! What's the best bang for your buck on performance! I've looked at JLT Cold air kits and don't know whether they are worth the extra cash over c&l! Also looked at ported throttle bodies. Just want some info before I go spend some cash! Thanks for any input in advance!

Air intake wise, I think JLT ram air kit shows the best gains and is the cheapest but it's supposed to be a bitch to install. The best bag for buck for you now would be 4.10/4.30 gears if you don't drive that fast on the highway or drive a ton on the highway. And of course drag radials for the street if you don't already have sticky tires. Sticky tires n/a=traction all the time pretty much, except the gears may nullify that out a little bit .Intake spacer for$100 is supposed to show good gains in non-peak torque numbers and some hp, definitely worth it for such a little price. Almost forgot to mention you will need a handheld tuner to fix your speedometer if youget gears, so that will cost an extra $350-$400 for that.So dependingon your budget I'd say:
$500 to Spend:
-Intake Spacer-$100
-JLT Ram Air Intake-$150~
-Drag Radials or Ported/BBK Throttle Body-$250-$350(I think) (I almost forgot, if you have a manual transmission-get a short throw shifter instead or if you have an auto trans-get a shift kit instead-both of those mods are probably better bang for buck then the throttle body and probably equal to drag radials)
$800 to spend:
-Get a dyno tune too
$1000(a little more for install of gears)to spend
-Get gears anda tuner and get rid of the dyno tune

I forgot to add that I have a diablosport tuner but I would love to trade/sell for an SCT! I'm plannin on a dyno tune so that I can spray 125 on my car! Also looked at gears but not gettin them seeing as I drive from NC to VA every weekend! Bout 350 miles one way! Thanks for the input! I have 1700 dollars to spend! So I"m prolly going to get a dyno tune, 125 jets, JLT CAI, long tubes, ported t/b, drag radials, UCAs and LCAS, and a rear end! to support the spray on drag radials!

good GAWD. That's going to be awesome!

I'd do the JLT RAI, though. Keeps the shaker functional...

Does it really keep it all that functional? Maybe mine was installed wrong but it appears the ducting from the shaker just sort of sits atop a small portion of the rather ginormous intake filter on the ram intake.
