Just got tires and drive shaft!! How fast?
Ok, just got a set of nitto 555r 275/40/17's installed, along with ford racing aluminum drive shaft. I must say the car feels good. Ive got good traction and the drive shaft seems to make the car run smoother in the higher rpms. Im still waiting for my MGW to arrive in the mail. Anyone give an educated guess on to what the car "could" run??

What track are you going to, Bithlo? Anyways my guess would be, since it is your first time going to the track with this car, 13.9-13.6 at 105-107. If driven properly and due to the track at bithlo being bad, high 12s to mid 12s at 107-108 or possibly 109 trap speed.

[QUOTE=Stone629;7466097]Just don't let your first track visit get your hopes down. It takes practice, plenty of it.[QUOTE]
+1. 954 (sorry, don't know your name), if you're like the rest of us, it'll take ya a few trips to the track to run close to what she's capable of. Have a blast and let us know how it went.

thanks for the tips, not my first rodeo at the track, just the first time with the mach. I dont know how much the Florida weather will play a part, but my budy with a stock 2011 5.0 was running high 12's down here. His times were right in line with everyone else in the country. But you guys are right, I know it will take a few times to get it right, which is why I high lighted the word "could" in my post!! LOL
