i lahff when i see some people dig up the S-197 concept pic and think it's the 2014. think about it for a second. why would ford go BACK the the relative proportions of the 2005-9 S-197 just to change a few styling cues?

When you see something for the very first time, it's new to you. You cannot compare what those of us seeing that particular picture for that first time within the last week think to what you think, when you already know it's old hat. IIRC, this thread was moved here from a Technical forum, so you're getting an OP plus a few people in this thread who don't usually come into the News/Concepts/Rumors/etc. forum.
Some of us - even at the 6th gear level - spend very little time chasing what might or might not be in the Mustang's future, and we'll always be a little late to this sort of party. Get used to it.
I wouldn't waste much time trying to second-guess what the designers and stylists are going to do next. What they do does not always make much sense.

NO! If you want a sleek, turbo powered, light, comfortable car, the mustang is not for you. The mustang is a MUSCLE car. Have you all forgotten what a muscle car really is? It's not sleek and light, like a little miata. It's not smooth and comfortable like a BMW. Its raw. Raw looks, raw feel, and most importantly, raw power. I'll take that over what I see in that picture any day.
