I stumbled across this home video on youtube of a 2013 Mustang chasing a Charger on the streets of SF. Did a little googling and found the TV show Alcatraz will air a remake of the entire chase scene on March 26.

I agree that the green Ford offers on its newer models is YUCK! But you think for something like this they could have just thrown on a custom green paint job to match the original.

i've never seen or heard of this show...what channel does this come on, i'd like to catch that scene

They have budgets in the hundreds of thousands (if not millions for more popular shows), but they couldn't pitch a couple grand to get a custom green on that mustang?

They couldn't even get the rims black? Plastidip is like $10.

And this one has fog lights! Did the bullitt even have fogs?

Here's the full chase scene. I had read it would be an actual turn by turn recreation of the Bullitt chases scene, but it's not, much shorter than the movie but it's still a pretty good clip of the 2013 Mustang in action.
