More than likely not. Tom Monroe list the same length pushrod for the 221 - 302 (62-69 1/2) at 6.825".

However, when changing heads you should always take the time to do a valve train geometry check. And a piston to valve check, especially if you have had the heads or deck shaved.
I forget the bore of the 260 but the head gasket for the 289 heads must be at least 4.0" which is the stock bore of the 289.
