Hey everyone
What's up guys!
Just bought an 02' Screamin' Yellow GT last week. It has 28,000 miles on it, and is in absolutely mint condition. I had a 5-spd V6 'Stang a few years ago, and have been driving a 94' Grand Am SE while in college. So yeah, finally something good to drive.
My buddy is selling his 96' GT, so we took off his short-shift handle and intake spacer. Installed them on mine yesterday, and am now looking for more mods to cram into it. Thinking of starting with a K&N Filter, then working my way all the way back. Any ideas for a guy who's been out of the sports car scene for a bit? Anyway, glad to be a part of the forum and here are some pics of the beasty.

RE: Hey everyone
I've been looking into getting the K&N Air Filter right away, then moving up from there. I want to get a few small things before starting on more performance mods. The Mach 1 pedals, shift ****, and trim ring are top on the list of things to get. Then I'll move onto Mass Air Meter, Throttle Body, and exhaust.
I have noticed something odd though. The 2nd gear synchros are a pain in the ***. It seems every shift into second has a bit of resistance and doesn't feel as smooth as 1st, 4th, and 5th. 3rd is ok for the most part, but has it's moments. I did a bit of quick searching on the forum and I guess it's a common problem? My buddy has the same issue in his 96' GT, but he said usually only when it's cold outside. I read that a tranny rebuild kit fixes this, and beefs it up a bit more to prevent it from occurring again. I'm going to start saving up for that, because it is quite annoying. I'm definitely going to wait for warmer weather though to see if it stops first.
