Soon to be a stang owner....we hope
Well I got approved on Monday for an auto loan @ 4.84% with intent to use it to buy myself a V6 Premium Mustang this week.
My question is, the Mustang I'm looking at buying doesn't currently have stripes on it and of course the dealer was quick to assure me that they could put stripes on it for me if I so desire. My question is, has anyone else had stripes added to their stang by the dealership and were you satisfied with the quality of the stripes and their workmanship? I'm trying to decide if I should have them added there or if I should try to find somewhere else in town to have it done. The dealer said they can give me two over the top 10s with a 2" spacing for $350. Vinyl, naturally.
What do you guys think?

Welcome, I did it myself for about 50 bucks (100 or so if you include the first 50 for screwing up). It depends on how much of a perfectionist you are. I’m sure they can do it pretty darn good but its also 350 bucks. If I WERE to pay someone it would be Baltimore street mods sense I heard they got a good rep and it’ll be about 200 there i think.
I’m sure someone on here has gotten this done by the dealer why don’t you check the v6 s197 area, I think they may have even an appearance board.

I had my side stripes done at the dealership, I'm sure they will do a perfect job, but boy o boy, you will pay thru the nose for it. I would either have someone do it (try local tint shops close to the dealership, I'll bet the dealership sends it out)

Welcome to the forums. It doesn't matter what dealer does it, it matters who does it. I would find someone who has put them on before and let them do it. Practice makes perfect ya know.
