Hello from Nashville Tennessee, couple questions
Hi. My name is Alex and I am a total Ford newb. I will soon be acquiring a wrecked 03 Mustang Cobra. I plan to part it out and I may have some questions during the process. I will also have all of the parts for sale. The car is rolled over. The swap looks fine. And hopefully the interior will be nice. I hear those seats are worth a pretty penny.
First question; What parts besides the obvious motor/ trans swap and seats will be worth good money? Are the brakes an upgrade? Rear differential?
Also, I've never worked on any Mustangs really and I'm not sure if I am fully equipped for the task.
My tools:
shallow and deep sockets 8mm-32mm
impact guns
various ratchets
various extensions
various screw drivers
various hammers (including a BFH) and pry bars
various pliers/ vise grips/ channel locks, etc.
torx bits T10-T40 (the small ones like for screws)
external torx sockets
punch and chisel set
jack, jack stands, engine hoist
probably forgetting a couple things.
Anything special or weird that I may encounter?
Thanks guys and I'll eventually have a for sale thread for the part out.
