I currently own a Miata PRHT 2008 and a TDI. Looking to get down to just one car that carries four but can drop the top. So I am looking at a domestic for the first time since 95 when is when I last bought any car from the big 3.

I like the new tail end look of the Mustang for 2013 and the front still has that nostalgia look that rings true (parents owned the first year Mustang - their first car).

Going after the six simply because I don't really need an eight. Options I plan on are a manual, saddle interior, comfort, and possible backing assist. I may add the Mustang Club package for the grill and darker wheels, not a fan of chrome.

so my questions are....

1) Why not look at a Camaro (other than brand issues).

2) Any quirks to the convertible Mustangs? (why don't they have a tan top!)

3) Can I really push 30 mpg?

4) Options to avoid or must have?
