Back in the game
Hello fellow Mustang owners,
I belonged to this site 9 years ago when I owned a 02 GT. I had done a ton of work to that car and developed a real passion for Mustangs. Unfortunately, 9 years ago I had a horrific back injury that ended my career. I had to sell my baby as I needed the doe. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, my wife found a car she liked and wanted me to look at it. Well, the first thing I saw was this 2010 Roush GT 427R in pristine condition on the showroom floor. As we were closing the deal on my wife's car I casually asked the salesman what they were asking for the Mustang. He told me and almost hit the floor. Way more than I wanted to spend. So, we left and I didn't say anything to my other half. A few days went buy and I made a phone call to the owner of that dealership and like10 other ones. Ive known him for years but I know his 80 year old parents really well. Long story short, they made me a deal I could not refuse. The deal was way under what I could find on the net. So, I am now the owner of my dream car. I always wanted a Jack Roush Mustang. Here is the kicker to this story... the 02 Mustang I bought went down exactly the same way this one did. We were there to buy a car for my wife, and ended up buying 2 cars. The most important part of the story is, my back is healed and I lead a normal life. Miracles happen and I am one.
One last thing.... gosh is that car fast! Looking forward to talking and learning from all of you.
