ok. i have a 94 mustang gt and i got a o/r h pipe and super 40 flowmasters on not too long ago. the car sounds awesome except i get this annoyin rattling sound aroun 1,500 to 3,000rpms. i took it back to get it checked out and they did sumthing to it. i can still hear the sound though. what could be causing this? i also hear a little at highr rpms. its really noticeable when i drive by other cars.

 

ITs gotta be something vibrating under there. Maybe a weld came loose??? I guess if you took it to a shop they would found it? I dont know. Good luck!

 

an off road pipe and flowmasters has been known to do that.

does it sound like something rattling in a tin can???

 

yep thats exactly it. do you think if i got delta flow it would take it away? or whats the loudest mufflers i can get without that sound? are lm1s really loud ?

 

My passenger side tail pipe was close to my frame rail and vibrated real bad at 1500-2500 rpm's.

I crawled back under, loosened some clamps, adjusted things a little, and it moved the pipe away from the frame and no more rattle.
