just wondering how much horespower can a regular 99-04 Gt motor can handle without any internat work. Planing on turbo my guy can do the best tuning job. I know about clutch and tranny issues, don't tell what i gotta replace just need to know stock motor what can it "safely" handle. Like 350 rwhp or 500 rwhp just need to know a basic number. Im planing on runnig safe now revs above 5500rpm ... Please let me know

Safe would be about 400rwhp, but I think a turbo and a proper tune you should be ok, but I'm not totally sure.

there are gts running 450RWHP with no issues. just because they can, doesn't mean everyone can though. 400RWHP is a nice, safe number.

thats actually what i am aiming for is around 400-450 rwhp. After that i can save enough to start building the block up. Thanks good people!!!

i'll never stop. So we dynoes my buddys supra at 950whp. But the dyno only could peak 1000 so he actually has more we couldn't keep tracktion kept burning rubber (DRs) on that dyno. Anyways he's adding a nitros bottle, talking about stoping, i don't think we could ever stop unless there are limits!
