Do not let the fact that the Tokico's are adjustable deter you from buying them the adjustment is so simple it is very easy and only take maybe 5 minutes tops to adjust all four shocks. I went with the Tokico's for the adjustibility figured it was worth it and ti was.

Its price thats Detering me. I race down the strip. Thats it. I don't think I really need adjustable. Stiffness doesn't really bother me.

If thats the case, the saleen kit is a great deal. It will definitely improve your handling, lower the car and doesnt firm up the ride too much and its a good price. If you dont care about adjustability and dont mind a firm ride, the saleen is great. You may also want to consider the roush. The handling performance is great with these kits and they dont slam your car to the groung but give it a good stance. btw, if you want to check out the saleen kit, test drive a saleen. Its the same kit they use on their cars. same with the roush.

Might I add, I can't get my tires aligned, because of the different sizes. 285/35/20 in back and 265/35/20 in front.
~Fred
Since when does having different size tires prevent you from being able to do an alignment? There is nothing to do on the rear wheels since it is a live axle. The fronts can still be adjusted for toe, caster and camber....

i have been told that the saleen suspension kit was desingned using 20 inch wheels in mind. this makes me think, will it still perform or work as it is supposed to if i use 17" or 18"??

Not as well. Saleens come with 20 inch wheels. The drop on the saleen kit is only 1.2-1.4'. Go with the Eibach Pro and either the Eibach shocks stuts or the DSPecs if you are going to use 17 or 18' wheels.

I think coilovers are nice if you are a serious autocross or road-race competitor and really need to tweak your car's setup perfectly.

However, Coilovers are NOT simple to adjust. The reason is that if you alter the ride height, then you consequently have to make a bunch of other changes because of it.

For example. Suppose you want to lower the car more. First, you adjust the spring height on the coilovers. Then, you have to re-adjust your camber. Then you have to re-set your panhard bar, pinion angle, and maybe fool with your LCAs.... it's not the kind of thing that you can just adjust on a whim.
Thanks, Al you just made up my mind! Ill stick with the the Eibach sportline and a set of Dspecs (if they ever come off backorder) [8D]

I am fairly sure the D-specs are back in stock. The last time I talked to Brent @ Brenspeed he had some. I was just chatting with a guy on the "other forum" and he got his about 2 weeks ago.

The only times I'd say that coilovers are worth it is if you absoloutley have to have fine adjustments for serious road-course racing. I think the expense and the fact that you can't just make adjustments on a whim makes them impractical for most applications.
