Default These tires decent?

I just got my take-off Ford 17 x 8 wheels and I was wondering if these were decent tires.

I was just gunna go with the Pirellis that come with the 17x8's for $118 a tire but I noticed the nitto's for about $5.00 more and the tread looks like they would give a little more performace.

What do you guys think? I've had my car for about 14 months and I put on 14,500 miles a little over a year

I can only guess why you got <15K miles on your first set of tires. [sm=gears.gif]

LOL actually man I just don't drive a lot! lol I know it sounds like BS but its true. I actually could go I bet almost another year on these BFG's if I tried. See im not getting DR's anytime soon yet so I just want a good kick but tire performance wise that would give a little more improvement over a 16 wheel with a 215 width and I saw those nittos for the $5.00 more than the pirellis that come with the car! The tread on the nittos looks like it would serve better performance than the pirellis lol

I have the 17" nitto 450's on my lowered car. I think it looks great and rides well, but I don't care for the performance in the rain.

Better tire for the money:

if your Stang isn't going to be lowered, make sure you dont' go to short on the tires or the already excessive amounts of wheelwell space will look like you put truck springs in it.
