Default 2005-07 MUSTANG HANDLING PACK?

Will I need anything else if I buy the Handling Pack from Ford Racing? Or if I go with the Saleen kit

I just had the FRPP handling pack installed on my 05 GT, The ride is STIFFby I love it. The car is just a better handling car now. Corners dead flat even in hard cornering, ZERO body lean or sway. The read end is much tighter also, and no bump steer evenover rough roads.I had my local ford dealer install and align. If you follow the instuctions and notch the lower bolt holes on the front struts and use the supplied cam bolts you can get the alignment dead on (my dealer gave me an alignment report and alignment met all specs So you should'nt need and adjustable cam bolts, although BMR fabrication and others sell those .I did ask them to install an adjustable panhard rod (from BMR fabrication) so the body would be centered over the rear axle. Next project Short throw shifter. Then exhuasts, and cold air intake and finally wheels and tires. Oh yeah the instructions for notching the boltholes are included in the kit

FRPP Handling Pack rules! I agree with the assessment by Jims05GT. It's just a great handling car now and more fun to drive than stock. I did not add any other gizmos, not sure I need anything but new rubber sooner rather than later!

Here's a pic of the back end with the camera pointed up from the asphalt.

the easiest way to explain bumpsteer is when you hit a rut or bump and the steering wheel jerks. it's a change in toe in relation to the suspension travel. with that kit it shouldn't be too big of an issue.

it would be wise to get an adjustable panhard bar. the rear always moves - it's physics. guys always claim "mine was okay" - that's bs

what headlights are those? they look great!

The FRPP Handling Pack or equivalent is amust forMustang handling. I went with the following suspension components, professionally installed: EibachPro Kit, FRPP Dampers, Steeda Strut Tower Brace (billet), Steeda front and rearsway bars, Steeda adjustable panhard bar and brace and Steeda LCA's

A set ofLCA's and anadjustable panhard bar will really completethe FRPP Handling Pack. The Eibach Pro Kit I installed lowers the S197 about 1.5 inches, similar to the FRPP lowering springs.Notice that Ford does not recommend things like camber adjusters, bump steer kit or the contol arm relocation kit with this change in ride height. If you don't go crazy with the ride height you probably won't need these components.I have not had to add these components to my car and I have hadmy parts on for the last 4,000 miles. My tire wear is good and the handling is greatlyimporved, but a little stiff.

Good luck with your Stang.

I havent driven a Mustang w/out the Ford handling kit, but I can tell you the car handles like its on rails with it. I also love the stiff, race-car like ride.[8D]
