Default Lowering Question

About to make the move to 18x10 rears and 18x9 fronts on my 05 v6. I am also thinking about doing some sort of suspension work when i do so, but i have a lot to learn before i can do that! First, I was thinking about doing the eibach pro kit (I think the sportline is probably too low, and too stiff...), but i dont know what I will need as far as rubbing prevention (steering stops), or any other suspension related items to make these springs work properly! Anyone who either has this setup, or can educate me on this change, please do so! Thanks!

I don't think you'll have any problems with the Pro kit. I installed Ford Racing lowering springs on my GT500, which are similar to the Eibach Pros and all four wheels are 18 x 9.5. No problems in regards to rubbing with 285 tires in the back and 255 in front.

I suggest an adjustable panhard bar to center the rear axle in relation to the chassis; I installed the BMR panhard bar. Sphon also makes a good one with an articulating end (Del-sphere) and a polyurethane bushing end. Camber plates are good to have as well to allow optimum camber adjustment when you align the front end. I have the Maximum Motorsport plates which also allow some level of Castor adjustment besides the camber.
