Default Steering wheel is crocked after accident

I was in an accident with my car where the frame was damaged. Its all fixed now, drives straight, yadda yadda... BUT to drive straight my wheel must be turned slightly left. Why is this, and is it fixable? Thanks

Your alignment is off, maybe from the impact or maybe just a sloppy front end alignment after the frame was pulled. So it can be fixed with an alignment.

Say the allignment was good, is there there adjustment in the wheel? They replaced the drivers airbag, I don't know the process but maybe it was installed incorectly?

if you must steer slightly to the left to go straight you'll want to add toe-out to the left tire and the same amount of toe-in to the right tire which moves both front wheels in the direction (left) you had to turn the steering wheel. Usually, it's a small amount -- less than a flat on the hex

How about this, I let go of the wheel, car drives straight. But while it goes straight my steering wheel is slightly turned to the left.

That can still be fixed with an alignment. It would be like setting toe. With the steering wheel straight turn the left toe adjuster then the right toe adjuster the same amount of turns until the wheels and steering wheel are both straight. I hope that helps. I just explained it a little different than Argonaut.

I had a steering rack replaced by a shop who then farmed out the alignment portion of the job. When I got the car back, it was off like you described. I took it back to the shop and pitched a bitch. They had the alignment shop re-do what ever it was that they did and afterward it was centered up nicely.

Definitely alignment. Mine was off center after replacing the inner tie rods and if i mess with my bumpsteer adjustments (toe) even though the car didn't pull right/left like you say. Get it on a hunter rack.
