Rattle/clunking from Che adj. LCA's
#11
Rod-ends do wear out. I find that my adj LCA's with poly/delspere ends make a bit of noise over really rough stuff when they're not adjusted perfectly (in length) side to side. Even 1/4'' off can make them noisy. Not sure why that is. I have them set to exactly 19'' (a little extra to accomodate the lower positioning in the relocation brackets) and they are completely quiet. Most rod-end type LCA's allow replacement of the ends if they wear out. Maybe contact the manufacturer and inquire about replacing them. The rod-end tolerances increase as they age.

Yes, I did actually. Replaced every bolt in my rear suspension with either a 14mmx100 (what BMR ships with their parts) or 9/16''x4''. I used whichever fit the snuggest for every part back there. Tight as a drum now. You can pick the 9/16''x4'' Grade 8's up at the local Lowes, Home Depot etc. The 14mmx100 are harder to come by. I had to order those from a distributor.
