I have a 2010 Black with silver stripes GT500. I have noticed a cloudiness on both rear fender panels. Looks like a film under the clearcoat. Has anyone else had this type of paint problem and is so what can be done. I am guessing since it is under warranty Ford will take care of it.

You better get it in quickly or run by your favorite body shop for an opinion.

If it's something small, the warranty used to be 1-year/12k miles for small things like that. Excluding all-out finish-failure.

Are you sure you're not seeing a buffer trail/hologram on a black car where the dealer's lot boy "prepped" it prior to delivery?

Nope, just see the road chips because of the color, and swirl marks.

I have a mark like this on my front bumper/valence..i plan on asking the stealership about it next service...ill update.

This is not the first time I heard of this, it should be covered but the warranty, but the stealership might try to fight you.
