Maybe you guys could lead me in the right direction? I have a 2006 white saleen convertible #06-0617 andI am having an issue with the left lower ground effect (Glue is starting to giveway) and as every other owner on here the "third" brake light has turned pink lol! So I was curious if I could take pictures myself and send them to Saleen under warranty without having to deal with the hassle of a dealership? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, pictures will help. but ultimately, Saleen will request that you take it to a dealer for repair. The pink brake light is a known issue. They will replace it.

Did they change the design of the brake light so that it won't turn pink or is it just going to turn pink again? I thought it was just oxidized and I was going to polish it out but it looks like it turned pink from the inside. I may just spray it with some red tinted clear and see how that looks.

Thanks, looks like I will just go ahead and take her down to a Saleen dealership and have them get things in order for me ! As far as the third light I may just try painting it black or a tinted red as mentioned earlier. I was also wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to pick up some black saleen lettering inserts for the rear bumper?

good luck! i went to the dealership a month ago and they are still waiting to hear back from saleen. i think they are waiting for my warranty to expire.

Sounds like I'll need it! Well I've always been told that Saleen is terrible with returning calls and solving warranty issues... Seems to me that a multi-million dollar company would have a more effective way of doing business...
