lt1 vs ls1

I walked the dog with my buddies 00 LS1 auto with 280 RWHP and 292 RWTQ. From a stop it was complete murder, from a roll it would take a few seconds and then I would put him away
I also walked a 02 WS6 6spd from a stop, but he would eat me up from a roll.
It can be done, espcially with better tires and a much more agressive gear. Even 3.73s are a world away from 2.73s.
I think it is safe to say that all of these LS1 auto cars putting down 320 RWHP are on VERY happy dynos. No way my buddies car is putting down more than 280-290RWHP or so (In other words right around the 325 flywheel it should have). I also don't think the 320 RWHP factory freaks are the norm for the 6spd cars. No way I could have hung with that WS6 if it was putting down 325!
Everyone is so god awful afraid of the LS1 cars. They can be beat, and it really isn't THAT hard. BTW, my car ran pretty much door to door with the LT1 cars when it was stock. And the LT1 responds better to modifications than the 4.6L, espcially the basic bolton ones.
Now this is not to say I would go out and buy a LT1 car to mod. Jeez, look at 98, exhaust/intake boltons and a cam making almost 400 RWHP! And the LS1 cars can be had for super cheap now. My buddy paid 16K for his with 17,000 miles off a car lot!

Your trying to say a LT1 that dynoed at 267WHP is pulling on LS1's.
The LS1 could have 2.43 and still pull on you from a roll, now I know your full of ****!
