Default what times should i be running

as some of u guys may know my 4.10's are messed up , apparently they wernt shimmed right and were put in too tight, i am having that fixed shortly and i am having an SLP catted X pipe put in. With my car AS IS and with crapy near bald stock tires the best 1/8 i ran was a 9.29............so with the 4.10's operating as advertised what should i be running? How much will the X pipe take off maybe a couple tenths?

You should be able to run at least 9.0. The x-pipe is good for about a tenth off your et maybe. You need better tires so you can hook up.

Damn, thats seems really good. I've been told that my 01 auto would run maybe a 9.5, you must of had a factory freak.

hmm really? i was thinking more toward the 8.5-8.8 zone, i mean with my FUBAR 4.10's (which are , right now slower than stock because i had my *** handed to me by my buddies stock 99' auto GT)and near bald tires i am running consistant 9.3-9.5 with an all time best of 9.298. So after the SLP X is on and with properly installed 4.10's and a dyno tune (i will have a set of brand new stock tires on also) you dont think i will dip into the 8's a good piece?

Gears being installed wrong wont slow you down, they will just sound like ****, and eventually blow apart taking everything else in the rear with them(Hurry up and get them fixed or you will be replacing everything)... You have to get out of the hole to run a good time... What are your 60' times? I garuntee that's where your problem lies....

gears whine pretty bad, the car feels much much slower than stock and feels like its bogging down from 1st - 2nd. A few ppl on here claim that they are probably "too tight" and thats the problem. Eiether way im mad as all hell and the shop got an ear full from me, the soonest they can get me in is May 17th[:@][:@] .............but anyway my 60ft is usually right at 2.2X..................and if gears arnt the problem why am i getting my *** kicked by stock 99-04 autos? (it was a lot worse with the predator tune installed which i got rid of)

With 4.10's and a decent set of tires you should be cutting 1.8's... That will knock about 5 tenths off your time... Practice the launch, and then practice some more... Nothing can beat seat time...
