a stock gt eclipse runs mid 15s on paper, which means high 15s in the real world. i think 5.0s run faster than that, i ran faster than that stock.

If you think an 06' 4banger eclipse (car in question) is a mean car, re-think it. For a stock 5.0 to beat it, it HAD to be a 4 banger, the V6 version would pull a stock 5.0, heavy or not.
My friends roll around in 11 second 4 bangers all day as a DD. I do not think 4bangers are rice. SOme of the fastest street cars in my town only have 4 cylinders. For example, my friends DD was a 99 civic SI. It ran 11.6@126mph.
