I would concede to that any day of the week

I will concede that the Trans Am is the prettier car. I bought the Camaro becuase it was cheaper and had the same powertrain; I'm not about to spend thousands of dollars on aesthetics that could otherwise go into performance mods. I'm broke enough as it is.

yeah whiteout u need to do some research, u do realize that they have the exact same motor right?
and like what was already said, if anything the TA will be slightly heavier, due to coming out of the factory with more options.
seems like u have it figured out now, damn u were think that lowly of my car?
all good

Although, I don't think the Camaros have the SLP option? If the T/A has that option - doesn't that have the opportunity to make it faster? I also know the T/A have the steeper gear option, did the Camaros have that also? - I am asking not telling, I want to know. lol
the best gear stock was the 6 speeds got the 3.42's. the SS had SLP as options as well. but i do think the T/A had someoen besides SLP, correct me if im wrong. but no, with the factory SLP or other, it was the same mods for the most part. either way with them mods, i think it was only 10RW more then stock.
The SS and WS6 both came with "free'er flowing exhaust," a "better intake," and a some decent suspension mods. Notice the last part is the only part not in quotes. The other two are simply costly options that do no good.
Bottom line:
An LS1 is an LS1 is an LS1.

yea i was a little harsh on camaros. but they do look nice done right. I love how ls1's build power even in the higher end of the powerband, I think LS1's should be standard on RX-7's imo. But back to reality, and yes again i was misinformed but by looks why do trans ams look lighter and dont look as wide? Do they have the same stance and wheelbase dimensions?
