No prob, that's why I sometimes use ^ instead of adding to a quote that already takes half a page.

All I know is that my car is faster than any Mustang....period. [8D]

My friends cars always feel faster from the passenger side, even my car feels faster from the passenger side. I think the *** dyno is crap....literally.

IMO I'd rather lose in a 5,0 mustang with paint over my rust than run consistant high 13's in a camaro. GM will only get my respect in a trans am ws6 from 99-01, C5 ZO6, and the new pontiac GTO's. There's a good reason 20 years later you still see 5.0 mustangs owning the strip. Where did all the IROC-Z's go huh?
Just another 2cents from your average FORD guy...

Um, how is a Trans Am worthy of respect but not a Camaro? It's the same car. Seriously.
And what's wrong with a '98 Trans Am? Or an '02?

Trans Am's are lighter. '98 T/A's have crappy heads. I may be wrong on that one I'm not sure if it's the 98 or the 97. Camaro's are too heavy and I absolutly HATE the way the Camaro's fenders are integrated with the side mirrors i think it's ugly. Unless it has that huge center spoiler to go along with it. Then it looks halfway decent. The Ram Air WS6 hood is one of the nicest hoods of all time and it's the only car off the top of my head that can pull it off. IMO Camaro's and Trans Am's are totally different cars. That's like saying 5.0 mustangs and 5.0 thunderbirds are the same cars. Theyre not. The people that drive mustangs and the people that drive THunderbirds are completely different sets of people.

Trans Ams are not lighter. If they were, they would be faster. They are not.
They only differences between Trans Ams and Camaros are the outside sheetmetal/fiberglass and minor interior differences, purely cosmetic. Mechanically they are the same car. JD1969 (Camaro owner) and 98LS1 (Trans Am owner) could tell you this as well.

check the track tests of a WS6 Trans AM '99
and an SS Camaro '99

check the curb weight I'll bet my Mustang the WS6 will be lighter and faster. The T/A WS6 is a slightly quicker car in the 1/4 check it out i know someone can pull up a link around here someplace for me.

You do realize that I actually own and operate an LS1 F-body (looking at it right now) and possess actual real-world experience and timeslips, right?
Just checking.
