who would win?
the guy i bought it off of in cumberland, md of kirk auto sales was selling it through the owner of Highland Harley Davidson in Johnstown, PA... it was not the dealers car.... he said it was a police car and gave me a brief list of mods.... since i bought it i put on the flowmasters and the NOS... it could have less than what hes telling me or maybe more... from what im hearing on here it might not even be an LT1... honestly i dont know now what all has been done to it.. so i took it to get it dynoed and supposedly got these bogus numbers. i dont know. i just dont . i thought i did, but apparently i had no idea. i am sure tho that they are manifolds.

i got a pic of the engine....i read a post that said you could use one... i havent really looked closely under the hood of another camaro, so tell me what you think... i would probably believe its a v6 at this point.. i did do a carfax on it tho and it came up that it was made in quebec, canada and shipped to hawaii. i assume thats where it became a police car.... i also found out one of the rpo codes revealed that it was originally black... not sure if that had any significance, just givin some info that i found thanks

That is indeed an LS1. The intake side looks kinda like a Procharger aftercooler; see those tubes coming out of each side? Is that some kinda cold air kit or something? I'd like to see a pic of that intake.

Something fishy here....

I think you'll have him, no doubt. If I were you I wouldn't bet a whole lot of money on it just in case, but I don't think he has much of a chance with no more mods than he has. He doesn't have any more done to his car than I have to mine, and I'm sure I'm not ready to take on LT1's.

on topic: make sure you got some N2O and it won't be much of a contest.

I AM CALLING SHENANIGANS!
That is indeed a Procharged LS1; anyone who buys GM High Tech Performance can refer to page 50 of the February '07 issue. There is no way you can buy a supercharged LS1 (or any other car) and not notice a friggin' blower under the hood.
No one is that clueless. No one.

P.S. I wish blowers on the LS1's only put down 310 to the wheels
LOL.. that's funny... it takes alot of work to put a LS1 into a LT1 car.... computer/harness/whole front undercarriage/tranny/driveshaft and other things. alot of work.It can be done, but everyone says it would be alot cheaper just to build the hell out of an LT1 and put back in it.
