its not very often that you pull up to a stop light and you look up to realize there is an autcrossing track smack dab in front of you lol

its a mustang forum we dont care much for autocrossing
I can tell, the only Mustang I've ever seen autocross lost control and slammed the side of his car into a tree.

When I pull up to a light, I never see a staging lane with a christmas tree either, but to a lot of people that still makes it a 1/4 mile track.

i just stating that because a car is not quick in 1/4 mile does not mean it is crappy across the board. give me all around performance any day.
shhhh, that will get you shot around here. what the hell is ALL-AROUND performance? i'm guessing that is not fat tires out back and skinnys up front.

i would rather have a car that is fast at the strip, in the corners, and drivable without having to change tires every day

As long as balanced doesnt mean it wont get out of its own way, will turn quickly but not hard, and can be driven by almost anyone and looks like crap (as in my opinion most compacts do) then no I dont want a "balanced" car. I want something that will force passengers to bring a few pairs of underwear along just for leaves from stoplights.

If it corners great, all the better, but I want something that will pull at least a low 12 in the 1/4. If you want balanced well than to me that would be 1g in acceleration, 1g in deceleration, and 1g in cornering. Plus it cant look like a piece of moddling clay was dropped on the floor with wheels added to it.

to expound upon the ugliness of some cars, here is a link to something actually agreeing on the topic. I can think of a few uglier cars, but hey I dont know what they are called.
